Subject: Butterfly hatch and other tasks _ Updated
About 10 days ago it snowed so I got an indoor task to fix a French quartz light and made short work of it , so I was promoted to prepping the butterfly hatches for varnishing, involved a lot of masking tape and black goo to seal the polycarbonate windows between the frames and the trim pieces.
I will save all the details for the "Saturdays ( at the park) with StAn", suffice to say I have learned a bit about the 'squeezing 'properties of black goo & and the value of masking tape
We will see the finished product at the next dispatch . . . . .
Here is Dan , who was hanging out in Europe, a Mariner from Maine, doing the fine finishing work
